11-15 July 2011: Amsterdam Summer Training

From the 11th of July till the 15th of July a Muay Thai and Muay Boran summer camp will be organized in Amsterdam. Participants will enjoy 2.5 hours of muay thai training and 2.5 hours of muay boran training every day for 5 days. The Amsterdam Summer Training will be lead by Luciën Carbin and Dale Tan.

Teachers

Luciën Carbin is a world class trainer and fighter from Amsterdam. He has trained legendary fighters like Alistair Overeem, Tyrone Spong, Gilbert Yvel, Ilonka Elmont and Sergio Wielzen. In his days he has been a multiple times world champion in karate, kickboxing and muay thai. Both in Holland and internationally he is famous for his technical style of fighting and teaching and this has lead to the fact that even Fedor Emilianenko has trained at his gym. If you're a beginner or a top athlete, everyone can learn from this living legend!

The Muay Boran seminars will be under the supervision of Dale Tan. Dale is a 14th khan muay boran teacher and has been in the game for 30 years now. He is considered to be the leading expert in traditional muay thai in Holland. He is in the board of the Dutch Muay Boran Foundation and is responsible for the technical level of the teachers education program. Dale has been in Thailand numerous times and even at his age and experience he continues to learn from the old masters. Prepare yourself for the bare knuckle style of muay thai!

There will be 5 days of training and you can enjoy 5 hours of training every day. The summer camp is situated in Amsterdam, which can be visited by public transport. Accommodation has been arranged. All participants can sleep for free in the canteen of a football club. The only thing you have to bring is an airbed and a sleeping bag, and your fight gear of course. Food is included in the price as well. Every day there will be breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. Training hard requires good, healthy food and we will take care of this.
